Vita, situated along the 201 Highway, is a friendly community which acts as the central gathering location in the R.M. of Stuartburn. Town amenities include restaurants, fuel/service and accommodations, among other businesses. Each July, it proudly hosts Canada Day festivities that include a pancake breakfast, parade, car show, music, entertainment, rodeo and food featuring a perogy and sausage dinner. The day is capped off with an impressive firework display at dusk, branded the "Best Fireworks in the South”. During the late summer months, a farmer’s market is held in town featuring local produce, baking and handmade items. Vita is also home to the award winning Ukrainian dance ensemble, Susydka, who have demonstrated their talent at Folklorama. The town has a curling rink and arena which host lessons, games and tournaments. Both buildings are available for public rental and enjoyment.
