This community, rich in wildlife and history, is home to the Roseau River and attracts visitors, cottagers and residents to take in the scenic natural habitat by enjoying activities such as canoeing, tubing and hiking in the summers and snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winters. Just outside of the community, you can make a visit to the Weston Family Tall Grass Prairie Interpretive Centre, 160 acres featuring the Agassiz Interpretive Trail which allows the public to take in and interact with one of the rarest ecosystems in North America. Check out the exhibits inside of the Interpretive Centre, choose to take an informative guided tour of the grounds, or simply choose to explore and absorb the naturalistic beauty on your own.
